During my previous stint in high security it oftem
enrged me that prisoners would not stand up in mass
to demand our rights be acknowledged-Therefore the
umoja (unity) amongst prisoners I vas witnessing
moved me tremendously.For I nderstood the work it
ook those men to bond together and demonstrate

Evennore inspiring was the effect that this new
found umoja had.The ability to utilize many prisoner
outside humyn resources proved effective.News crev

pleading for this unified action to cease.and af ter

in 2019 to "establish an independent ombudsman agency
who will be responsible for investigating,evaluating
